Nap Time

These days it gets harder and harder to get Lydia to take a nap.  She used to conk out within 10 min or so and now it can take up to 45 minutes.  Ever since she started crawling she started using her crib as crawl practice/play time.  So now I lay her down in her crib and give her her paci and by the time I start to close her door she's already sitting up playing with something.  She starts out on her back, then she quickly rolls over on her belly, gets up on her hands and knees and then goes into a sitting position.  This all happens in about 3 seconds.  I used to keep some blankets and her monitor on her bed but everything ended up in her crib with her.  So I had to strip everything off her bed so she would have less distractions.  There are many times I think she's asleep, cause it's been nothing but silence coming from her room for about 20 minutes, so I'll go in there only to find her trying to pull up on the crib or ramming her head into the bumper.  But after all that play she usually passes out.  Shes falls asleep in the cutest positions.  It gets pretty entertaining though.

Here's the little toot sticking out her tongue.

She looks like a cheerleader in this picture.

There's that tongue again.

Looks like she has a bridle in her mouth.

  2. Aww thanks Ashley. Well one of my old coworkers gave me a lot of her little girls clothes and this outfit just so happens to be one of them. The headband came with it.

Seriously, Lydia is THE most expressive baby girl! She looks exactly like a cheerleader. I can hear her saying, "yeah! woooo!" with her little starfish friend. I cant wait to see her and you and hug you both!
