SNOW!!

Our first snow of the season.

   I didn't think I would be this excited about our first snow this winter but I am.  It's also Lydia's first snow ever.  I know she'll have plenty more while we're here.  We probably got about half an inch or so.  Not too much.  But I like to see the white ground.  It makes it feel like Christmas time that much more.  The dogs aren't big fans of it though.  I let Maggie out this morning and she walked on her two front legs the whole time and did her business and came right back in.  Took a total of about 5 seconds.  Riley went out a little later.  He peeked his head out the doggie door and just stood there with only his head poking outside.  Kevin made him go out and he took about two steps, peed on the deck and came right back in.  Poor dogs, they have a long winter ahead of them. 

    Well now for my Lydia update: She finally fell asleep around 10 last night and didn't wake up till 6:30!  Then she went back to sleep after a clean diaper and I woke her up around 8:10.  So much better than the last couple nights.  If it wasn't for the stupid sweet potatoes I think she would have slept great the last 4 nights. 

    I wish our fire place worked, sure would be a great day for a fire.  It currently feels like -1 outside.  And yes that is a negative sign in front of that one.
